To improve the website from within I decided to add
functionality in three distinct ways on the website. I carefully listened to
the advice offered by my instructor and my peers in regards to the soft launch
of the website. I updated and added the homepage to include a main logo for the
company. I resized grooming style images on the homepage. I added the prices
for the grooming styles displayed on the homepage and the Gallery Page of the
website. Additionally, I added descriptions to the grooming style images and
the Gallery Page on the homepage. I included a Send Us An Email section to the
Contact Page. Lastly, I included the Buy Now through Paypal Button on the Shop
Page. In regards to the social media community, I added a Facebook Share
button, a Pin It button for Pinterest, and a Tweet It button for Twitter. I decided to make these specific changes
because I wanted to include the content
that was provided to me by my client and to add a recognizable logo that would
be associated with the company. I also wanted to add better descriptions to the
photo gallery to bring a better understanding to the pictures that were being
displayed on the website.
